Upcoming Events & Services

Sundays at 10:30am - Worship Service

“What Feeds Us?”

Sunday, November 20, 10:30 am

Children, youth and adults off all ages are invited to our annual multigenerational Thanksgiving service. In this season of Harvest we reflect on how we find and offer nourishment in body, mind, and spirit. The service will feature music played by violinist Jagan Nath. This Sunday also concludes our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for Interfaith Social Services – contribute donations of non-perishable food to our cornucopia!

Greg Greenway, guest preacher and musician

Sunday, November 27, 10:30 am

Folk singer Greg Greenway will serve as our guest preacher and musician this Sunday. Greg Greenway is a soulful and moving singer, powerful poet, and sparkling entertainer. He draws inspiration from all over the map-- gospel, rock, blues, Jazz, and world music. But his center is in the singer/songwriter tradition that traces its roots all the way back to the social awareness of Woody Guthrie.

Seven Principles...

  • The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
  • Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
  • Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
  • A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
  • The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
  • The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
  • Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

These principles are the backbone of our religious community.

to United First Parish Church, also known as the “Church of the Presidents” in Quincy Center.

Worship Services are held Sundays at 10:30 a.m. from the Sunday after Labor Day until Mid-June.  Services include music, readings, and sermons by our minister, guest ministers, or a lay-member of congregation.

Our readings and sermons draw from Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu Buddhist, and other spiritual writing.  Childcare service is available for free from 10:15am until 11:45am.  During the summer, the congregation's lay-led services are held in the parish hall.

After service, coffee and refreshments are served in the Parish Hall.  Newcomers are especially welcome, and are encouraged to ask questions at the Social Hour.

It's in our hands.
